BMW328is: Door Lock Diagnosis and Repair

Tired of having to lock and unlock the car using either the trunk or passenger door lock, I finally managed to schedule some shop time to remove the driver's door panel and repair the lock assembly. While I had the door apart I also decided to install the window motor I purchased almost five years ago.
